HTC Titan is the first Windows Phone 7.5 Mango phone to make it to the market. It has a massive 4.7-inch 16 colour S-LCD capacitive touch screen of WVGA resolution (480x800 pixels) gives nearly 199 pixels per inch(ppi) pixel desity. Its bigger size is comfortable for watching HD videos, web browsing and viewing image without beign microscopic effect on it. The S-LCD capacitive screen of the HTC Titan has WVGA resolution and not a qHD resolution of Sensation XE because WP& isn’t very flexble with different resolution like Android.
The Titan’s user interface is the same Windows Phone on you’ll get on any competing device running the OS.The interface is very clean and simple. Its’ comprised of line tiles that shows information like the current date, calendar events, missed calls, unread emails and more ,all without the need to open up any of the application. One of the main novelties brought by the latest WP build 7.5 Mango is multi-taskin. It still isn’t true multitasking thing are being done the iOS way. This can be too restrictive for some apps. Windows Phone 7.5 can be controlled by voice only- you ditate a text, emails, have the phone read out the reply, you can initiate searches and more. Other Os’s are doing it too (Android ) but voi ce command are a big part of iOS(Siri).
HTC Titan has a 8 mega pixel camera with a 28mm wide angle f2.2 aperture lens and Back-side illuminated (BSI) sensor. The F2.2 aperture number means that the phone’s camera can capture image with more light, which is coupled with BSI sensor will produce very well-light images even in darker environments. You can record 720p HD @ 30 fps video but not a 1080p full HD video may due to software restriction. It also feature a 1.3MP front facing camera for self portiait video call.
Titan has 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon CPU, Aderno 205 GPU, 768 MB RAM and 16-GB of built in storage. There is no micro SD slot for memory expansion.
